Local History Research Fees
A consultation fee of $20 covers preliminary investigation and initial research. During the consultation, we will determine if PRHS is able to fulfill your research request or direct you to the proper archive. The researcher will contact you after initial investigation and provide you with an estimate of the research required; a fee of $50/hour will be charged. Additional costs will be charged for photocopies, postage and handling.

Fee is for evaluation only. The PRHS is a volunteer run organization with a limited archive. Your request will be evaluated to determine the level of research it requires. If your request requires in-depth research, you will receive an outline with scope and cost for further research. If we are unable to address your request, you will receive guidance and links for conducting personal research.
